Atelier Kū: A Hi-Fi Fine-Dining Debut Lands in DIFC This December

Atelier Kū dubai opening in difc in december

Atelier Kū opens in DIFC this December. Get a first look at Dubai’s newest hi-fi fine-dining destination, featuring immersive sound, cuisine.

A 45-seat restaurant, a penthouse-style Hi-Fi bar and one of the world’s most serious sound systems, all on the 15th floor of DIFC. Here is everything we know about Atelier Kū.

Dubai doesn’t lack new restaurant openings, so it takes something genuinely different to stand out. Atelier Kū is pitching an unusual pairing: haute cuisine on one side, high-fidelity sound on the other. Opening in December 2026 on the 15th floor of Emirates Financial Towers in DIFC, it is part fine-dining room, part audiophile bar, and it bets the two belong together.

What is Atelier Kū?

What is Atelier Kū dubai

Simply put, Atelier Kū is a high-end Hi-Fi bar and fine-dining restaurant under one roof. An open “Atelier” joins two distinct spaces. On one side sits a bright, 45-seat restaurant. On the other lies a dark, intimate Hi-Fi bar. Guests can enjoy a full tasting menu, then transition seamlessly to late-night drinks and music.

Where is it, and when does it open?

The venue sits on the 15th floor of Emirates Financial Towers in the heart of DIFC, with views stretching across the financial district and toward Downtown Dubai. It is scheduled to open in December 2026 and will run five days a week, Wednesday through Sunday. The team has said it will share more details on the food and cocktail programmes closer to opening.

The restaurant: a 12-course menu and a grand piano

The restaurant is the lighter of the two spaces, with floor-to-ceiling views and a live Blüthner grand piano. Diners can choose a 12-course set menu or order à la carte. A separate Chef’s Table is also available for private gatherings. Executive Chef Artem Estafev leads the kitchen team. Formerly of Paris’s multi-award-winning Plaza Athénée, he focuses on inventive takes on familiar ingredients rather than showy experimentation.

The Hi-Fi bar: sound you feel before you hear it

Cross the Atelier and the mood changes completely. The bar features a dark, luxury-penthouse aesthetic. Its centerpiece is the MBL 101 X-Treme, one of the world’s most elite omnidirectional sound systems. This is where the Hi-Fi concept shines. The goal isn’t sheer volume, but exceptional physical sound quality. As founder Andrey Bolshakov puts it,

“We didn’t install the MBL to make the room loud. We installed it so the music reaches the body before it reaches the mind.”

The people and design behind it

Atelier Kū is founded by Andrey Bolshakov, who also runs the cocktail programme and is building the drinks to sit alongside the food rather than compete with it, with the same attention to how each ingredient is prepared. On the food side, chef Artem Estafev brings his Plaza Athénée pedigree. The look and feel come from External Reference, a Barcelona-based architecture studio that designed bespoke furniture and sculptural elements meant to echo the relationship between sound and space that runs through the whole venue.

The bottom line

On paper, Atelier Kū wears many hats. It blends a serious tasting menu with a proper cocktail bar and an audiophile listening room. Plus, a top architecture firm handled the interior design. We will see how it all comes together once it opens. Still, these unique elements make it worth watching. If you track new Dubai dining spots, mark December 2026 on your calendar. You won’t want to miss what a million-dirham sound system sounds like on a Wednesday night.
