Pack Your Hats, Dubai: These Outdoor Attractions Are Saying “BRB” for Summer

Pack Your Hats, Dubai: These Outdoor Attractions Are Saying "BRB" for Summer

Dubai’s outdoor hotspots are closing for summer! Catch these six major attractions before they say goodbye.

Okay, friends, it’s officially that time of year again — the one where stepping outside feels like opening an oven door. As the UAE cranks up the heat, Dubai’s outdoor hotspots are politely bowing out, waving goodbye (for now) and promising to return refreshed, recharged, and probably with even more sparkle.

So if you’re planning your weekend escapes, here’s the lowdown on six major attractions that are either already closed or about to take a summer snooze:

1. Garden Glow

Dubai Garden Glow

The dazzling lights and giant glowing dinosaurs of Garden Glow have packed up their fairy dust after an epic 10th season. They wrapped up the party on April 6, 2024, after lighting up our lives since last September. Don’t worry though — they’ll be back when the air no longer feels like soup!

2. Dubai Fountain

With Renovation Approaching, Final Dubai Fountain Show Date Unveiled

Say it ain’t so! The world’s most famous fountain danced its last water ballet (for now) on April 19, 2025. It’s heading for a glow-up of epic proportions, with revamped choreography, sound, and lighting. Even the adorable abra rides have hit pause. But don’t panic — the grand re-reveal is set for October 2025, so there’s a glittery light at the end of the tunnel!

3. Ripe Market

Ripe Market

Your go-to spot for artisan breads, boho jewelry, and “accidentally” buying six plants you didn’t plan for? Closing soon! May 11, 2025 is the last call to grab your organic veggies and handmade candles until the cooler breezes roll back in.

4. Global Village

This mega-mix of food, fun, and fabulous souvenirs is still open for a little while longer — but only until May 11, 2025. If you haven’t devoured your weight in global snacks yet, this is your final boarding call before they pack up the pavilions for summer.

5. Miracle Garden

Dubai Miracle Garden

Where else can you see life-sized castles, hearts, and even full-blown Emirates planes — all made of flowers? Miracle Garden is staying in bloom a bit longer but will officially close the gates on June 15, 2025. You’ve got a few weeks left to snap that perfect “accidentally candid” Instagram photo among the petals.

6. Dubai Safari Park

Dubai Safari Park Set to Reopen on October!

Calling all animal lovers! You’ve got until June 1, 2025 to meet the lions, giraffes, and other fabulous residents of Dubai Safari Park before they take their well-deserved summer break. (Honestly, we can’t blame them — wearing a fur coat in June? No thanks.)

If you’ve been putting off your Dubai outdoor adventures, this is your not-so-subtle nudge to get moving. Before long, the only thing you’ll be seeing outdoors is the shimmer of the heat haze!
