The Booziest Brunch in Ras Al Khaimah
The Islander’s Brunch at Vespa & Brasserie Terrace leans fully into the island theme. Think Arabian Gulf views, swaying palms, roaming performers, live musicians and a crowd that gets louder as the afternoon goes on. It is still the Saturday plan half of RAK builds the weekend around.
Drinks are half the fun. Expect signature cocktails, mocktails, beers, wines and spirits with your choice of mixers, plus dedicated piña colada, hops and spritz stations pouring all afternoon, so a refill is never far away.
The Food: Live Stations From Around the World
Start cold. There is an artisan bread station, a cheese and charcuterie selection, Mediterranean cold specialities and a chilled seafood bar with oysters, crab, prawns and ceviche. The salad bar brings Eastern Mediterranean mezze and Vespa’s burrata and antipasti station, while the Tapas and Sushi stations add flavours from Spain and Japan.
Then go hot. Mama’s Pasta and Pizza favourites are made live, the Shawarma Corner stacks wraps with all the trimmings, and The Josper Grill turns out chicken souvlaki, lamb chops and beef steak. Next door, the Seafood Grill fires lobster, prawns, tuna and salmon.
A live trolley does the rounds with Porcini Risotto, Beef or Salmon Wellington and the Fish of the Day, and anyone who skipped breakfast can head to the Eggs Benedict station.
Save Room for Dessert
Dip fruit, marshmallows and coconut bon-bons into the chocolate fountain, grab a scoop at the live ice cream station (look out for the DoubleTree cookie flavour), or pick from opera cake, pavlova, panna cotta and Arabic sweets. Warm crêpes are passed around the terrace too.
Entertainment for All Ages
Islander’s Brunch is as much a party as a meal. Live musicians and roaming performers work the outdoor terrace all afternoon, so expect plenty of dancing between plates.
Families are welcome too. Children aged 3 to 11 pay half price, under 3s eat free, and the Kids’ Dessert Corner is stacked with jelly cola, gummy bears, cupcakes and marshmallows.
The After Party at The Anchor
The party does not stop when brunch does. The after party runs at The Anchor, the resort’s English-style gastro pub, from 4pm to 8pm, and brunch guests get 50% off.
