DIFC has no shortage of places to spend money after work. What it’s been short on is somewhere to simply be after work. The Fox’s Arms, opening today beneath Rowley’s at Central Park Towers, is having a go at fixing that.
If you know Rowley’s, you know the formula: steak, fries, salad, no fuss, no reservations. The London Mayfair import landed in DIFC in early 2025 and quickly became one of the district’s most dependable lunches. Now the team has converted its former Tap Line space on Level P3 into a proper British-style pub, swapping cocktails-on-tap minimalism for something warmer: cold pints, classic comfort food, social games and screens for live sport.
What to expect at The Fox’s Arms?
The pitch is deliberately low-stakes. This isn’t a venue built for birthdays or big nights out; it’s built for the Tuesday pint, the pre-dinner drink, the “one more game of darts” that turns into three. The drinks programme runs all day, so a lunchtime pint is as much the point as a long evening. And yes, Rowley’s signature steak and fries is available downstairs too, which quietly makes this one of the better-value steak-and-pint combinations in the district.
With live sports screenings confirmed, the timing is hard to ignore: the FIFA World Cup runs until 19 July, and DIFC has surprisingly few relaxed places to catch a match.
