The Hoxton, the London hotel is opening its first Middle East property in Dubai Media City. It will have the brand’s first wellness club.

The Hoxton, the London hotel brand that built its name on Shoreditch cool, is opening its first Middle East property in Dubai Media City. It’s taking over the old Radisson Blu site, bringing 230 rooms, a lineup of new restaurants from Paris Society, and the brand’s first wellness club anywhere in the world. Here’s everything confirmed so far.

Where is The Hoxton Dubai and When Does It Open?

The hotel is set in Dubai Media City, replacing the existing Radisson Blu building with a full, multi-million dirham transformation led by AIME Studios, Ennismore’s in-house design team. An opening year of 2027 has been reported, though an exact month hasn’t been confirmed yet. The property will have 230 guest rooms once it’s done.

The Hoxton’s backstory: For Anyone Who Hasn’t Stayed at One

The Hoxton started out in London’s Shoreditch back in 2006. From the beginning, it built a reputation on community-driven hospitality. For example, it features busy lobbies people actually want to sit in, along with neighbourhood-inspired design. Furthermore, it maintains a general refusal to feel like a corporate hotel chain. As a result, it now successfully runs 19 open-house hotels across cities including Rome, Brussels, Chicago, Dublin, and Edinburgh. The brand sits under Ennismore, the same group behind Delano, Mama Shelter and 25hours Hotels, and Dubai marks its first hotel anywhere in the Middle East.

The Restaurants and Bars at The Hoxton Dubai Media City

Paris Society, the group already behind Dubai favourites like Mimi Kakushi, Gigi Rigolatto and Maison Revka, is curating the food and nightlife side of the hotel. Onaka, a new Japanese handroll bar, will be helmed by French restaurateur Moïse Sfez. Bleachers is shaping up as a social sports bar built around gameday culture. Il Bambini Club brings over a trattoria concept already running in London, Paris and Cape Town, and Tope, the brand’s signature rooftop spot known in Barcelona, Portland and Brussels, will serve a Mexican-inspired menu and cocktails. The lobby itself is being positioned as a hangout in its own right, with cultural programming, local collabs and pop-ups planned alongside the usual comfort food.

Dubai gets The Hoxton’s first-ever wellness club

This is the part that sets the Dubai property apart from every other Hoxton. The hotel will house the brand’s first wellness club globally, with a full gym floor, movement studios, spa treatment rooms and contrast therapy facilities, plus a members’ lounge. There’s also Beaum, a health-focused café concept attached to the wellness hub, and the club is planned to run its own calendar of fitness and wellbeing events rather than just sitting there as a gym.

Who’s behind The Hoxton Dubai?

The project is a partnership between Select Group, the Emirati developer that owns the site, and Ennismore. Israr Liaqat, Group CEO of Select Group, said wellness sits at the heart of everything the company builds, from its residences to the communities around them, and called the Hoxton partnership a natural extension of that into hospitality. He added that Select Group is proud the brand’s first wellness club anywhere in the world is landing in Dubai Media City.

Insider tip

Dubai Media City sits right between Palm Jumeirah and Dubai Marina. Once open, it will be an easy add-on to a Marina night out. You will not need to plan a whole evening around it. Keep an eye out for launch offers closer to 2027. New Ennismore openings in the region tend to sell out early-bird rates quickly.
