Anantara The Palm Dubai Resort is excited to partner with Dilmah Tea for a unique tea-paired culinary experience. This November, Chef Bongkoch “Bee” Satongun, one of Asia’s top chefs, will take center stage for a one-of-a-kind event. Chef Bee, known for elevating Thai cuisine, will host two exclusive experiences at the resort. A fine Dilmah Ceylon Tea will serve with each dish, offering guests a journey of flavor and aroma.
Meet Chef Bee: A Michelin-Starred Culinary Master

Chef Bee is the creative force behind Paste Bangkok, a Michelin-starred restaurant. Her dishes blend traditional Thai flavors with innovative techniques. Chef Bee’s expertise is rooted in royal Thai cookbooks and ancient recipes, ensuring every dish tells a rich cultural story. In 2018, Chef Bee was named Asia’s Best Female Chef by The World’s 50 Best Restaurants.
Chef Bee’s mission is to transform Thai food into an art form, taking it beyond street food to a refined dining experience. Moreover, her collaboration with Dilmah Tea, known for its world-class tea, will make this experience even more special.
A Weekend of Culinary Excellence

On Friday, 21 November, Chef Bee will present a family-style sharing menu at Mekong, Anantara’s signature Asian restaurant. Dishes like Hor Mok Souffle with Crab and Kang Kua Scallop Curry will serve with Dilmah Ceylon Tea, enhancing the complexity of the flavors. The elegant ambiance of Mekong will provide the perfect setting for this extraordinary dining experience. Additionally, the warm wood accents and flickering lanterns will take you on a soothing journey.
The following day, Saturday, 22 November, Chef Bee will host a live cooking station at Crescendo’s Fork & Cork Brunch. Guests will have the rare opportunity to watch the Michelin-starred chef at work, as she prepares her creations paired with bespoke Dilmah Tea blends.
