This is the week Dubai switches back on. Dubai Parks and Resorts, Miracle Garden, Dubai Safari Park and Global Village all reopen between 7 and 14 October, so the outdoor season starts properly in one go. Four of the city’s biggest outdoor attractions come back within eight days of each other. If you’ve got visitors in town or kids off for a long weekend, this is the order they open in.
Dubai Parks and Resorts Reopens, With Halloween at LEGOLAND
MOTIONGATE Dubai, Real Madrid World, LEGOLAND Dubai and The World of Riverland are back from Wednesday 7 October. LEGOLAND goes straight into Halloween mode the same day with Brick or Treat: a ghost hunt through MINILAND, sweets from HARIBO, Halloween LEGO builds and a dance party with the LEGO Monsters. The flower garden in Al Barsha South returns for its 15th season on Thursday 8 October after its usual summer refit. Dubai Safari Park Season 8 Opens 12 October
Dubai Safari Park reopens on Monday 12 October with more than 3,000 animals across six zones, from the Arabian Desert Safari to the African Village. The new addition this season is the Royal Safari Experience, a four-hour private tour for up to 10 people with VIP seating and your own guide, which is a smart call for a family group or a birthday. Global Village Season 31 Opens 14 October
Global Village opens its 31st season at 6pm on Wednesday 14 October and runs until May 2027. Expect the country pavilions, street food, Carnaval rides, Dragon Kingdom and the Gardens of the World. General entry tickets for Season 31 aren’t on sale yet. For reference, last season was AED 25 (USD 7) on weekdays and AED 30 (USD 8) on any day. VIP Packs are already on sale through the Coca-Cola Arena website, from AED 1,890 (USD 515) for Silver up to AED 7,900 (USD 2,150) for Diamond, limited to one per Emirates ID. WOW-Emirates Expert Tip: Opening night at Global Village is always the busiest of the month. If you want the rides without the queues, go on a Monday or Tuesday in the first two weeks and arrive close to 4 PM, when the gates open and the car parks are still empty.
New Offers in Dubai This Week
Navratri Sharing Menu at Mausam, Dubai Mall
Mausam is marking Navratri and Dussehra with a Satvik sharing menu that follows the festival’s fasting rules, so there’s no onion or garlic and the grains are swapped for samak rice and kuttu puri. You start with Maharashtrian sago vada and tulsi paneer tikka, move on to paneer khurchan and raseela aloo arbi, and finish with makhana khajur basundi made with fox nuts and dates. It’s AED 149 (USD 41) per person, with fountain and Burj Khalifa views from the dining room. AMARU Launches Its Chef’s Journey Tasting Menus
AMARU at Souk Madinat Jumeirah has rolled out four tasting menus that work their way across Latin America, served with 360° projection mapping and a live DJ. The one to order is the AMARU Journey at AED 350 (USD 95) per person, because it includes the 36-hour asado negro, a Venezuelan short rib that’s slow-cooked for a day and a half. There’s a vegetarian journey at AED 300 (USD 82), a chef’s selection at AED 450 (USD 123), and the chef’s signature at AED 950 (USD 259) with king crab, scallops and wagyu anticucho.

Hikina Reopens With a Bluefin Tuna Set Menu
Hikina, the modern Asian restaurant at Lapita, reopens on Friday 9 October with Bluefin Ritual, a four-course set menu built around bluefin tuna that runs from sashimi to torched otoro rolls. At AED 150 (USD 41) per person, it’s one of the more affordable ways to eat otoro in Dubai right now. It runs until 31 October.

Purani Dilli in Bur Dubai is leaning into India’s street food culture with an unlimited chaat spread.
