If you are planning a summer that keeps the kids busy without leaving the city, LEGOLAND Hotel Dubai has made the maths easier. From 2 July to 30 September 2026, one child stays and eats free with every paying adult. It runs right through the school break, so a family stay costs a lot less than the sticker price suggests. The offer is designed for families with children aged 2 to 12, the hotel’s sweet spot. Everything inside, from the rooms to the evening programme, is aimed squarely at that age group.
Here is what you actually get, what is on during your dates, and how to book.
What “Kids Go Free” gets you
Book a stay between 2 July and 30 September, and one child stays and dines free for every paying adult on the booking. Two adults, two kids covered, and so on. It applies to selected bookings and dates, so the price will move depending on when you go. As with most Dubai staycation offers, midweek nights tend to be kinder on the wallet than weekends.

Inside the LEGOLAND Hotel Dubai
This is the only LEGO-themed hotel in the region, and it leans all the way into it. Rooms come fully themed, so kids walk into a LEGO world rather than a standard family room. There is an outdoor pool and a splash pad for the heat, a Build-a-Boat challenge, Mini Golf, and hands-on LEGO building stations dotted throughout the hotel. When the sun goes down, the programme continues with movie nights and evening entertainment for younger guests. For parents, that is the real value. The activity is on-site and on tap, so you are not driving anywhere or filling the day yourself.
The Sleepover Series: a different theme every couple of weeks
Layered on top of the stay is the Sleepover Series, a run of themed sleepovers that changes the hotel’s décor, music and activities every two weeks. Each theme brings its own workshops, character meet-and-greets, scavenger hunts and family activities. So a stay during one theme feels different from the next.
The series runs from 1 June to 2 August, and here is the full calendar:
- NINJAGO Nights: 1 to 14 June
- Pirates: 15 to 28 June
- Adventure: 29 June to 5 July
- Kingdoms: 6 to 19 July
- Friends: 20 July to 2 August
The two later themes are the ones still ahead. Kingdoms turns the hotel into a royal world, and Friends closes the series in late July. If a themed stay is the draw for your kids, aim your dates at one of those windows.
One thing worth knowing: the Sleepover Series wraps on 2 August, while the Kids Go Free offer keeps running to 30 September. So, an August or September stay still gets you the free-child deal and the full hotel, just without the rotating theme layer.
Sleepover Series at a glance
- What: Rotating themed sleepovers with workshops, characters and activities
- Live and upcoming themes: Kingdoms (6 to 19 July), Friends (20 July to 2 August)
- Runs until: 2 August 2026
- Best for: Younger children, from preschoolers to pre-teens
- Booking: Sleepover Series page
WOW Emirates Expert tip: The Kids Go Free stay offer and the Sleepover Series are two separate promotions running over the summer. Before you book, confirm at the point of booking whether the two can be combined on your dates, since terms apply to each. If you want the themed experience, book a Kingdoms or Friends night in July. If you just want the cheapest family break, September works and still runs on the free-child deal.
Is it worth it for residents?
For a family with young kids, yes, especially against a full-price summer hotel stay. The free child stay and dining are genuine savings, and the on-site activity means you are paying for a break where the entertainment is already covered.
The honest caveat is age. This is dialled in for 2- to 12-year-olds. If your kids are older, the theming will land flat, and you will get more out of a general staycation. Tim Harrison-Jones, General Manager at LEGOLAND Hotel Dubai, says, “The experience is built around younger children’s imaginations, from the themed rooms to the evening programme.”
