You’ve got a six-day weekend staring at you, and you still haven’t booked anything. No judgement. Half of Dubai is in the same boat right now. The good news is that Emirates and Etihad have both dropped Eid Al Adha flight deals Dubai in the past week, and some of them are genuinely worth a look. The less good news is that fares during the Eid window always run 35 to 40 percent higher than what you’d pay in March or April. So “deal” here means relative to the peak-season gouge, not relative to a quiet Tuesday in February.

- Mauritius – five nights at Heritage Awali Golf & Wellness Resort with flights. Price: AED 10,766 (USD 2,932) per person.
What’s Worth Booking Eid Al Adha Flight Deals Dubai
The Sri Lanka package is the standout here. Shangri-La Hambantota is a proper resort with a golf course, a sprawling pool setup, and a beach that actually feels private. At under AED 4,000 per person with flights, that’s competitive even outside peak season. If you’re a family of three looking for a quick beach break without bleeding money, this is the one to look at first.
The London deal works best for families who already know what they want to do in the city and just need a base. Serviced apartments mean you’ve got a kitchen and space, which matters when you’re traveling with kids.
The Maldives and Mauritius packages are the premium end, obviously. Whether AED 11,000 per person is worth it depends entirely on whether you’d rather spend that on a long weekend abroad or split it across a couple of Dubai staycations over summer. Both are valid.

If you’re sitting on a pile of unused Miles, check whether a partial redemption brings the price down before paying in cash. The earning rate on holiday packages tends to be lower than on standalone flights, but it still adds up on the bigger bookings.
Etihad Airways: Perks, Miles, and Baggage Bonuses
Etihad’s Eid push is less about headline-grabbing package prices and more about making the travel day itself less painful. If you’re flying out of Abu Dhabi, here’s what’s on the table.
- City Check-In and Home Check-In perks – between 19 May and 16 August, passengers who use either service get 1,000 Etihad Guest Miles and an extra 3kg baggage allowance. City Check-In costs AED 40 (USD 11) per person and lets you drop your bags up to 24 hours before your flight. Home Check-In means someone comes to your door.
- Off-peak airport check-in bonus – an additional 3kg baggage allowance for travelers checking in at Zayed International Airport during selected quieter hours.
- Abu Dhabi Pass – for passengers with a stopover in Abu Dhabi, the pass includes discounts at attractions, restaurants, and leisure spots across the emirate, plus a complimentary SIM or eSIM.
Etihad also ran a fare sale earlier this month with up to 30 percent off Economy fares from Abu Dhabi to over 40 destinations. That sale closed on 14 May, so it’s done. But the seasonal European routes it covered (Malaga, Palma de Mallorca, Mykonos, Santorini) are still worth searching directly. Fares on these routes shift daily, and you might catch leftover inventory at a reasonable price even without a formal promo code.
Wow-Emirates Expert Tip: If you’re flying Etihad from Abu Dhabi during Eid week, the airline recommends arriving at least three hours before departure. That sounds aggressive, but Zayed International gets properly busy during holiday peaks. Use digital check-in and the City Check-In service to skip the terminal queue entirely. What about flydubai?
Worth a mention since flydubai is part of the Emirates Group and flies codeshare routes on several Emirates Holidays packages. They’ve also launched their own bundled holiday packages starting from AED 2,113 (USD 575) per person, which include flights, hotel, airport transfers, and tours. Booking windows span early June in Turkey, Georgia, Italy, Greece, Croatia, and Montenegro.
If your priority is price over resort quality, flydubai’s packages tend to undercut Emirates Holidays significantly. The tradeoff is a narrower seat, no frills, and destinations that lean more toward city breaks than beach resorts.
The Bigger Picture: Is It Still Worth Booking?
Honestly, it depends on what you’re comparing against.
If your alternative is staying in Dubai over a long weekend with temperatures pushing past 40°C, then yes, even a slightly inflated package to Sri Lanka or Phuket will feel like a win. A beach resort where you can actually sit outside after 10 AM has real value in late May.
If your alternative is a Dubai staycation with a pool, a decent brunch, and air conditioning you don’t have to pay extra for, that’s a strong option too. Especially when you factor in no airport queues, no luggage drama, and no jet lag.
