Private Cabanas With Plunge Pools

Cabana SizeCapacityPriceRedeemable?
Small Plunge Pool CabanaUp to 6 guestsFrom AED 4,000Fully on F&B
Large Plunge Pool CabanaUp to 12 guestsFrom AED 6,000Fully on F&B

All six cabanas include a private plunge pool, shaded seating, dedicated service and full access to the beach and main pool areas. Advanced booking is required.

What this means in practice:

  • A weekday visit costs AED 200, but only AED 100 is credited to your bill. The other AED 100 is a pure access fee. Same on weekends: AED 300 entry, but only AED 150 is credited. This is partially redeemable, not full.
  • The plunge pool cabanas are where the value flips. AED 4,000 for up to 6 guests (AED 667 per person) is fully redeemable. For a group celebration or birthday, that is a private pool, dedicated service and full F&B credit at a five-star resort.
  • Rixos hotel guests get complimentary pool and beach access, which means the venue can fill up on busy days even without day-pass visitors. Book ahead on weekends.

WOW Emirates Pro Tip: The large cabana at AED 6,000 for up to 12 guests works out to AED 500 per person, fully redeemable. Split between a big group, you get a private plunge pool, cabana service and enough F&B credit to cover a full lunch with drinks. No other JBR beach club offers that.

Ladies’ Day: Tuesdays and Wednesdays

Azure runs one of the better ladies’ day deals on JBR. Every Tuesday and Wednesday, ladies pay AED 200 for entry and receive pool and beach access plus 5 complimentary drinks. That is the standard day pass price, but with five drinks added on top.

The Food: Asian-Fusion by the Pool

The restaurant serves Pan-Asian cuisine with Mediterranean touches. Indoor and outdoor seating overlooking the pool and the Arabian Gulf. The kitchen runs consistently through lunch and dinner.

What to order:

  • Sushi and maki rolls (the sushi is one of the stronger items on the menu)
  • Poke bowls
  • Caesar salad
  • Wood-fired pizzas
  • Grilled meats and fish
  • Vegan and vegetarian options (taken seriously, not afterthoughts)
  • Sandwiches and lighter beach bites

Drinks: Cocktails, wines, champagne, beers, shisha (after sunset on the terrace). Frozen cocktails and spritzes dominate the poolside orders.

WOW Emirates Pro Tip: The sushi and the pizza are the two categories that get the most consistent praise in reviews. Order one of each to share. Budget AED 250-400 per person for a full lunch with two cocktails.

The Spaces: Two Pools, One Beach, Six Cabanas

azure beach dubai and pool

  • Main Infinity Pool — 770 sqm (2,500 sq ft), temperature-controlled, with island beds and sunbeds lining both sides. Views of the Arabian Gulf and Ain Dubai. Open to all ages during the day. This is the centrepiece of Azure and where most day-pass visitors spend their time.
  • Vogue Pool Party (smaller pool) — 270 sqm (885 sq ft), adults only. After sunset, this space hosts live music and evening events. The atmosphere shifts from daytime relaxation to a more social, party-adjacent vibe. If you want the quieter pool during the day, this one is usually less crowded than the main infinity pool.
  • The Beach — A private stretch of JBR sand with sunbeds, umbrellas and a sprawling lawn area for games and relaxation. Direct sea access. More laid-back than the pool deck. Currently, the only area welcoming children is the Family Pool, which is under renovation (expected to reopen mid-July 2026).
  • Private Cabanas — Six cabanas, each with an individual plunge pool. Two sizes: small (up to 6 guests) and large (up to 12 guests). Fully redeemable minimum spend. These face the Arabian Sea and Ain Dubai. The only private plunge pool cabanas on JBR.
  • Azure Lounge — 185 sqm indoor event space with bar and dance floor, available for private events, corporate dinners and parties for up to 150 guests.

Note (May 2026): The Family Pool is currently under renovation and expected to reopen mid-July 2026. During this period, children are welcome only on the beach. The adult pool remains open.
