The Candle Experience: A Sensory Escape Through Light, Sound, and Scent
The Candle Experience is a reimagination of Sofitel’s signature Candle Ritual, inspired by the 1860s Paris tradition when the city earned its nickname, the “City of Lights.” Upon entering the room, the softly flickering LED candles invite you in a soothing and magical atmosphere. The experience also has a festive playlist curated in partnership with Devialet, an acclaimed acoustic engineer. Moreover, the signature scent of bergamot, sandalwood, and white rose transforms the room into a sanctuary for reflection and connection.

The Candle Experience takes you on an immersive sensory journey with a carefully curated festive soundscape. Using newly crafted speakers by Devialet, known for their high-resolution sound and deep bass. The music envelops the room, creating a peaceful and festive atmosphere. The sound is more than just background music; it’s a tangible part of the experience, helping deepen the sense of relaxation and stillness. A bespoke ensuite playlist offers rejuvenating moments to unwind fully in the comforting embrace of sound.
