Global Village Season 31 opens on Wednesday, 14 October 2026, and the prices are finally out. Entry is still AED 25 (about USD 7), but there’s a catch nobody’s shouting about: Sunday now costs the weekend rate.

Global Village Season 31 opens on Wednesday, 14 October 2026, at 6pm, and runs until May 2027. Opening night starts two hours later than usual, so there’s no point turning up at 4pm and waiting at the gate. From the next day it’s back to the normal 4pm start.
The closing date hasn’t been pinned down yet. Season 30 was extended to 31 May 2026, so a late May finish is a fair bet, but don’t plan a last night visit around it until Global Village confirms.
Global Village Season 31 Ticket Prices
Good news first: the prices haven’t gone up. The change is in the days. Last season the cheaper ticket covered Sunday to Thursday. This season Sunday has moved into the weekend band, so a Sunday visit now costs AED 30.

Tickets are on sale on the Global Village website and app, and at the gates from 14 October. Entry gets you in, and that’s it: Carnaval rides and some attractions are paid separately, usually with a top-up Wonder Pass card.
Wow-Emirates Expert Tip: Thursday is the sweet spot this season. You pay the AED 25 weekday price but the park stays open until 1am, so you get the late night without the weekend price or the weekend crowds.
What’s New at Global Village Season 31?
The full line-up landed on 8 October, and there’s more change than usual. Here’s what’s actually different this year.
Tokyo Rush roller coaster
The headline addition is Tokyo Rush, a new roller coaster with sharp turns, high speed and a full loop. The catch: it isn’t ready for opening night. Global Village says it arrives later in the season and hasn’t given a date, so don’t promise the kids a ride on it in October.
New shows
- Bollywood Idol: a music and dance show about two brothers, one chasing fame and one sticking with his studies
- Bank Heist: an acrobatic action show inspired by true crime stories
- Fast Live 2: The Police Strikes Back: the stunt show sequel
- Returning: Slam, plus Care Bears and PJ Masks at the Kids Theatre
Pavilion changes
There are 29 pavilions this season, one fewer than Season 30, still covering more than 90 cultures. The moves worth knowing:
- Sri Lanka gets its own pavilion after sharing with Bangladesh last season
- Russia expands to take in Azerbaijan
- Syria and Kuwait return with new facades
- Gardens of the World is back with an updated design, the Cultural Gate has new LED lighting and the Sharjah tunnel has a new theme
New places to eat
With 250+ food options already, the newcomers are the ones to hunt down first. Trabzon Turkish Restaurant is new, and Restaurant Plaza adds Robo Al Sham (Levantine), Hawawshi Al Rabie (Egyptian) and fried chicken chain Chicking. On the sweet side, look for Vinci Dolci, Emir Bey Gourmet and Uzungol Café, and the Dessert District has had a facelift.
Passports, rides and the practical fixes
- Kids Passport: brand new this season, alongside a redesigned Season 31 Passport. Every pavilion has a stamping station
- Carnaval: 200+ rides and games, with redesigned Festival Wheel carts
- Back again: The Dragon Kingdom, The Horror Hotel, Secrets of the Lost City and Exo Planet City
- Less queueing: more ticket counters at the Happiness Gate, more Family POD washrooms and a WhatsApp chatbot for visitor help
Global Village isn’t the only cool season favourite back either. Dubai Miracle Garden Season 15 reopened on 8 October and Dubai Safari Park follows on 12 October, so Dubailand is about to get very busy again.
Global Village Season 31 VIP Packs
VIP Packs went on general sale on 26 September through the Coca-Cola Arena website, the only official seller, after pre-booking sold out. Each pack includes entry tickets, Wonder Pass cards, VIP parking, a collectable storybook design pack and seven Season 31 pins. The Mega packs are the better maths if you were planning LEGOLAND Dubai or the other Dubai Parks and Resorts parks this winter anyway. The rules: one pack per valid Emirates ID, and buyers must be 18 or over. One pack also has a hidden AED 31,000 (about USD 8,440) cheque inside.
Dubai Police have warned about fake websites and social media accounts selling Global Village packages. If it isn’t on the Coca-Cola Arena site or Global Village’s own channels, don’t pay for it.

One rule catches people out every year: Tuesdays are reserved for families, couples and ladies, unless the Tuesday is a public holiday. If you’re planning a night out with a group of friends, pick another day.
Getting to Global Village: Parking and Buses
- Free parking: P1 and P3 (about 400m from the Gate of the World) and P5 (about 450m)
- Overflow parking: P7 to P11, free on weekends, public holidays and busy nights, about 1km out with a free shuttle bus or rickshaws from AED 10 (about USD 3)
- Paid parking: AED 75 (about USD 20) a day at Paid Parking 2 near the Happiness Gate, AED 120 (about USD 33) at the main paid zone
- VIP parking: AED 200 (about USD 54) a day, free with a VIP Pack. New this season: self-service machines let you pay before you reach the exit
- RTA buses: routes 102, 103, 104 and 106 run daily from 3.15pm to 11.15pm, with route 106 leaving from Mall of the Emirates Metro Station
- Taxi: Careem, Uber and RTA taxis all serve Global Village
Wow-Emirates Expert Tip: Leave the scooters and bikes at home. Scooters, bicycles, Segways, roller skates, skateboards and hoverboards aren’t allowed inside, and neither are pets.
Why Global Village Is Still Worth a Night Out
Let’s be honest, AED 25 doesn’t buy you much else in Dubai. Here it gets you ninety-plus cultures in one place, street food you won’t find anywhere else in the city and enough rides and shows to fill an evening. Skip opening night and the first weekend if you can, because a Monday or Wednesday in the first fortnight gets you the new season with far shorter food queues.
