Global Village is coming back. Season 31 opens on Wednesday, 14 October 2026, and runs all the way through to May 2027.

When Does Global Village Open This Year?

Mark 14 October 2026 in the calendar. Opening night starts at 6pm rather than the usual 4pm, so there’s no point turning up early and waiting at the gate. Season 30 opened on 15 October 2025, so this is right on schedule.
The closing date hasn’t been pinned down yet. Season 30 ran until 31 May 2026, so a late-May finish is a fair bet, but don’t plan a last-night visit around it until Global Village confirms.
What’s the Theme This Year?
Season 31’s theme is “A More Wonderful World.” Global Village hasn’t said yet how that will play out across the pavilions, but expect it to shape the shows, decor and fireworks once the full reveal lands.
What’s New at Global Village Season 31?
The full list of new attractions hasn’t been released yet. Global Village has promised new additions alongside the fan favourites, and these are expected back:
- Dragon Kingdom – the walk-through attraction with 11 themed rooms
- Gardens of the World – the themed garden zone
- Little Wonderers at Carnaval – the indoor adventure park for younger kids
For scale, Season 30 had 30 pavilions representing more than 90 cultures, over 3,500 shopping outlets and 200+ rides, games and attractions in the Carnaval zone. Global Village has also passed 100 million visitors since it first opened, so the bar for Season 31 is set high.
It’s not the only outdoor favourite coming back for the cooler months either – Dubai Miracle Garden Season 15 reopens on 8 October and Dubai Safari Park on 12 October, so Dubailand is about to get very busy again.
Global Village Season 31 Ticket Prices: What to Expect
Season 31 entry prices haven’t been announced and general tickets aren’t on sale yet. Here’s what last season cost:
- Weekday ticket: AED 25 (about USD 7), valid Sunday to Thursday, excluding public holidays
- Any-day ticket: AED 30 (about USD 8), valid any day including weekends and public holidays
- Free entry: children under 3, over-65s, and People of Determination plus one companion
Expect Season 31 to land close to this, but treat it as a guide until Global Village publishes the new prices.
Global Village Season 31 VIP Packs
The Season 31 VIP Packs are the first thing you can actually buy for the new season. Pre-orders ran from 21 to 25 September, and general sale opened on 26 September on the Coca-Cola Arena website, the only official seller. Every pack comes with entry tickets, Wonder Pass cards, VIP parking, a collectable storybook-design pack and seven Season 31 pins.

The limits: one pack per valid Emirates ID, and buyers must be 18 or over. One pack this season also has a hidden AED 31,000 (about USD 8,440) cheque inside, so someone is getting a very good return on their VIP spend.
Dubai Police have also warned about fake websites and social media accounts selling Global Village packages. If it isn’t on the Coca-Cola Arena site or Global Village’s own channels, don’t pay for it.
Global Village Timings for Season 31
The Season 31 hours are confirmed:
- Sunday to Wednesday: 4pm to midnight
- Thursday to Saturday and public holidays: 4pm to 1am
One rule catches people out every year: Tuesdays are reserved for families, couples and ladies, unless the Tuesday is a public holiday. If you’re planning a night out with a group of friends, pick another day.
Wow-Emirates Expert Tip: Skip opening night and the first weekend if you can. A Sunday or Wednesday evening in the first fortnight gets you the new season with much shorter queues for food and rides.
Getting to Global Village: Parking and Buses
- Free parking: P1, P3 and P5, about a 400-450m walk to the entrance
- Paid parking: AED 75-120 (USD 20-33) a day for the closer zones
- VIP parking: AED 200 (USD 54) a day
- RTA buses: routes 102, 103, 104 and 106 run from 3.15pm to 11.15pm daily during the season
- Taxi: Careem, Uber and RTA taxis all serve Global Village
Wow-Emirates Expert Tip: Leave the scooters and bikes at home. Scooters, bicycles, Segways, roller skates, skateboards and hoverboards aren’t allowed inside, and neither are pets.
