Chom Chom Dubai Has Three New Weekly Reasons to Get You Back

Chom Chom Dubai is introducing a new series of weekly activations running from the beginning of April through to the end of June.

If you’ve been to Chom Chom Dubai in Al Barsha, you already know it’s not a one-and-done kind of place. The food is good, the vibe is easy, and it somehow manages to feel like your neighbourhood spot even in the middle of a Galleria Mall. But starting this April, the Vietnamese restaurant is giving you even more reasons to keep coming back, with a series of weekly activations running through the end of June.

Thursday, Saturday, Sunday. Three nights, three completely different experiences. Here’s what’s happening.

Thursday Nights Are Now for the Kids (and Honestly, Also for You)

Chom Chom Dubai

Every Thursday, Chom Chom Dubai runs Kids Noodles Night, a family dining experience with a dedicated children’s menu built around approachable Vietnamese dishes. Lemongrass Beef Banh Mi, Chicken Pho, Beef Short Rib Pho, Chicken Wings With Rice, and Vegetable Noodles, all sized and flavoured for younger palates.

Dessert isn’t an afterthought either. Condensed Milk Caramel Flan, Coconut Sorbet, and Pandan Milk Cake round out the menu in the best way possible.

To keep the little ones engaged, there are activity sheets and beginner chopsticks. Along with the small junior chef touches that make it feel like an actual experience rather than just a kids’ corner of the menu. It’s a good way to introduce children to Vietnamese food without making it feel like a lesson.

Saturday is DIY Summer Rolls, and You’re Going to Love It

Chom Chom Dubai

If you’ve never made your own summer rolls at a restaurant table, this is genuinely a fun one. Every Saturday, Chom Chom Dubai invites you to build your own rolls from scratch: rice paper, fresh herbs, pickles, vermicelli noodles, and a choice of protein. Chicken, prawn, or tofu, depending on what you’re in the mood for.

The team guides you through it, which helps if you’ve never done it before, but the whole point is the process. It’s the kind of shared meal where conversation happens naturally because everyone’s hands are busy.

Pricing is AED 45 for Summer Rolls, AED 50 for Hanoi Summer Rolls, and AED 65 for Prawn Summer Rolls.

Sunday Comes With a Surprise At Chom Chom Dubai

Pick the Pencil is exactly what it sounds like, and it’s a little bit genius. Every Sunday, every table gets to pick from a set of pencils. Most are sharpened. One isn’t. If you happen to pick the blunt one, you either get 20% off your bill or a complimentary dessert.

It’s a small thing, but it completely changes the energy at the end of a meal. You’re not just waiting for the bill; you’re waiting to see if you got lucky. It also means people are coming back on Sundays just to try again, which is exactly the kind of thing that keeps a restaurant feeling alive.
