Drift Beach Dubai sits inside One&Only Royal Mirage on the Al Sufouh coastline, facing Palm Jumeirah across the water. It is the quietest luxury beach club in the city. No headline DJs, no pool parties, no sparklers with the bottle service. What you get instead is an infinity pool with unobstructed skyline views, a private beach with cream parasols and linen-toned sunbeds, a Provençal restaurant run by Chef Yassine Riahi, and a service standard set by One&Only that very few beach clubs can match.
Drift Beach Dubai is also one of the few venues in Dubai with gendered pricing that genuinely favors women, with ladies getting fully redeemable entry across all tiers while gents get 50% back. Here is everything you need to know before you go.
What You Will Pay at Drift Beach Dubai
Drift Beach Dubai runs a tiered system with gendered pricing. Ladies get fully redeemable passes. Gents get 50% redeemable on sun loungers (but cabanas, island beds, and beach houses are fully redeemable for everyone). Rates vary by location within the club (pool, beach, or green area) and are offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
Sun Loungers (1 Guest)
| Tier | Weekday (Mon-Thu) | Redeemable | Weekend (Fri-Sun) | Redeemable |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Ladies – Standard | AED 150 | Fully | AED 200 | Fully |
| Ladies – Premium | AED 200 | Fully | AED 250 | Fully |
| Gents – Standard | AED 150 | AED 75 (50%) | AED 200 | AED 100 (50%) |
| Gents – Premium | AED 200 | AED 100 (50%) | AED 250 | AED 125 (50%) |
Cabanas, Beds, and Beach Houses
| Option | Price | Capacity | Redeemable? |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cabana | AED 600 | 2 guests | Fully on F&B |
| Island Bed (poolside) | AED 1,000 | 2 guests | Fully on F&B |
| Beach House | AED 1,500 | Up to 6 guests | Fully on F&B |
| Private Villa | On request | Group | Fully on F&B |
What this means in practice:
- A woman visiting on a Tuesday pays AED 150 and gets it all back as food and drink credit. She effectively pays nothing for beach club access.
- A man visiting on the same day pays AED 150 and gets AED 75 back. His real access fee is AED 75.
- If you are a couple or a group, book a Cabana (AED 600 for two, fully redeemable) or a Beach House (AED 1,500 for up to six, fully redeemable). The gendered split disappears at these tiers, and the value improves significantly.
All bookings include locker access and Drift amenities (towels, water).
WOW Emirates Pro Tip: The Beach House at AED 1,500, fully redeemable for up to 6 guests, is the standout deal for groups. That works out to AED 250 per person with full F&B credit, and it is the only tier at Drift that welcomes children. If you have kids under 16, this is your only option (children are only allowed in the beach area, not the pool or restaurant).
The Food: Provençal, Not Performative
Chef de Cuisine Yassine Riahi runs the kitchen, focusing on classic French technique and Provençal flavors. The menu is built around the finest organic ingredients, freshness, and simplicity rather than spectacle. This is not a beach club menu. It is a proper French restaurant that happens to face the sea.
What people order most:
- Truffle Flatbread — the dish that comes up in almost every review. Crispy, earthy, rich. Order it to share as a starter.
- Sea Bass Carpaccio — delicate, citrus-dressed, clean. The Côte d’Azur on a plate.
- Oysters and Langoustines — from the raw bar. Impeccably fresh.
- Grilled Fish of the Day — whole or filleted, simply prepared, letting the quality of the catch speak.
- Wagyu Burger — the non-seafood crowd favorite. Better than it has any right to be at a beach club.
- Colorful Salads and Vegetarian Dishes — refined and light. The kitchen takes these seriously, not as afterthoughts.
Drinks: An innovative cocktail menu and a curated wine list that leans French. Spritzes, champagne, classic cocktails. The non-alcoholic selection is well thought through.
There are two dining areas. The main restaurant serves the full Provençal menu. The Sea Lounge, closer to the water, offers a lighter, organic, and health-focused menu, cocktails, and a more casual setting.
WOW Emirates Pro Tip: The truffle flatbread and the sea bass carpaccio are the two dishes to start with. If the grilled fish of the day is sea bream or John Dory, order it without hesitation. Budget AED 300-500 per person for a full lunch with drinks.
Three Spaces, One Mood
Drift Beach Dubai does not have competing zones. The entire venue operates at one speed: slow.
- The Pool — An infinity pool facing Palm Jumeirah. Cream-toned sunbeds line both sides. Here, sun loungers are available in standard and premium tiers. No children under 16. The pool is where most first-time visitors spend the day. The skyline view across the water is the best non-Burj-Al-Arab vista of any beach club in the city.
- The Beach — A private stretch of sand on the Al Sufouh coastline. Direct sea access, parasols, calm water. The Beach House option (up to 6 guests, AED 1,500) is located here and is the only area that welcomes children. Quieter than the pool deck, especially in the mornings.
- The Sea Lounge — A separate space between the pool and restaurant. Lighter menu, cocktails, organic bites. Open 12-7 PM weekdays and 12-8 PM weekends. This is the golden hour spot. Watch the sun drop behind the Palm from here.
- The Restaurant — Indoor and terrace seating. Chef Yassine Riahi’s Provençal menu. Open from 9 AM (breakfast) through to 7 PM weekdays and 8 PM weekends. The terrace tables with a sea view are the ones to request.
- Private Villa — A standalone villa with private shower, changing facilities, and full access to all Drift facilities and menus. Price on request. For celebrations, proposals, or anyone who wants total privacy.
