Bollywood stars Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt took the center stage for the launch of the new DAMAC Islands 2. The Concept Behind DAMAC Islands 2
DAMAC Islands 2 is designed to bring the energy of tropical destinations to Dubai. The inspiration is from eight renowned island locations: Antigua, Bahamas, Barbados, Bermuda, Cuba, Maui, Mauritius, and Tahiti. The project includes lush landscaping and crystal lagoons, creating a waterfront living experience that blends nature with luxury.
The development emphasizes wellness with amenities such as wellness pavilions, floating decks, and open-air spas. Unlike traditional high-rise apartments, DAMAC Islands 2 offers villas and townhouses, providing residents with spacious, nature-inspired retreats within the city. In addition to this, the islands will also have a Zen garden, Verdant waters, Horizon trail, butterflies’ nest and more.
The Launch Event of DAMAC Islands 2
The launch event was a grand affair held at the Coca-Cola Arena in Dubai. The evening, hosted by Hussain Sajwani, Founder and Chairman of DAMAC Properties, and Amira Sajwani, Managing Director. Bollywood superstars Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt added glamour to the event. At the same time, Arab music sensation Majid Al Mohandis also attended the event. The launch highlighted DAMAC’s strategy of blending regional and global appeal, featuring prominent figures to mark the unveiling of this unique residential project.
As part of the DAMAC Islands 2 launch campaign, DAMAC introduced an exciting global competition to crown ‘The Ultimate Islander’. The winner will enjoy an all-expenses-paid trip and take on a role as a DAMAC employee, living on one of their eight islands.
