Bvlgari Resort Dubai is the city’s most private five-star address. It sits on Jumeira Bay, a seahorse-shaped island off Jumeira 2, reached by a 300-metre bridge. It offers 101 rooms and suites, 20 villas, a 46-berth marina with its own yacht club, a two-Michelin-star Italian restaurant, a one-star omakase counter, and a 1,700 sqm spa.

You don’t have to check in to see it. Non-guests can book the restaurants, the spa and the new Serpenti Beach Club. This guide covers every part of the resort: where it is, what the rooms are like, what each restaurant costs, how day access works and whether it’s worth your money.

Where is Bvlgari Resort Dubai?

The resort sits on the southern half of Jumeira Bay, an artificial island developed by Meraas just off the Jumeira 2 coastline. The island is shaped like a seahorse and connects to the mainland by a single 300-metre bridge. That one road in is the whole point. No through traffic, no walk-in crowd, and no mall next door.

Bvlgari takes up most of the island’s hospitality footprint. The rest is private: six residential buildings with 173 sea-facing apartments, 15 Bvlgari mansions and a handful of ultra-prime plots. The resort, marina, and yacht club are the only parts open to the public, and even those require reservations.

The view is what people come for. Looking inland, you get the full Downtown skyline with Burj Khalifa in the middle of it. Looking out, it’s the open Gulf. Very few Dubai hotels give you both from the same terrace.

Getting there

• From DXB: around 25 minutes by car

There’s no Metro station nearby. Plan on a taxi, your own car or the resort’s limousine.

The design: why it looks nothing like the rest of Dubai

Most Dubai five-stars go tall and glassy. Bvlgari went low and Mediterranean. Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel, the Milan studio behind every Bvlgari hotel, built the resort as a cluster of low-rise buildings in pale stone and dark wood, stepped around gardens and courtyards.

Inside, it’s warm walnut, Italian marble, green and gold accents, and a lot of restraint. There’s no chandelier theatre and no gilt. If you like the Bvlgari hotels in Milan, Rome or Paris, this is the beach version of the same idea.

Rooms, suites and villas

There are 101 rooms and suites in the main resort and 20 standalone villas. Most rooms open onto a balcony, terrace or garden, and the smallest start at around 55 sqm, which is large by Dubai five-star standards.

Rates move a lot with the season. Public rates we tracked start at about AED 2,150 (USD 585) a night in the hot months and average around AED 6,150 (USD 1,675) in January, the peak. Breakfast, when it isn’t in your rate, runs about AED 175 (USD 48) per person.

Villas

The 20 villas are where Bvlgari pulls away from its competition. Each one is a standalone house with its own pool, garden and a covered car park hidden inside a gazebo, so you can arrive without passing through the lobby. Beach-facing villas have direct sand access.

The marina and the Bvlgari Yacht Club

This is the world’s first Bvlgari Yacht Club, and it’s a real working marina, not a decorative one. The harbour has 46 berths for boats from 10 to 40 metres, 24-hour dockhands and a superyacht anchorage with tender service. It holds a Gold Anchor Award, the international standard for marina quality.

Boat owners can use Dock and Dine: registered boats get four hours of free berthing while their guests eat at the resort’s outlets. On-board dining, spa treatments and even a hair stylist can be sent to your yacht on request.

Restaurants and Bars

Bvlgari runs one of the strongest dining line-ups of any single Dubai hotel. Chef Niko Romito, whose restaurant in Italy holds three Michelin stars, oversees the Italian side. Here’s every venue and what it’s for.

Il Ristorante – Niko Romito

The flagship. It holds two Michelin stars in the current MICHELIN Guide Dubai and is one of only a handful of two-star restaurants in Dubai. Chef Giacomo Amicucci runs the kitchen day to day, cooking Romito’s pared-back Italian with produce shipped from Italy. Pasta and fish are the strengths.

A la carte, the spaghetti al pomodoro is AED 140 (USD 38), and the beef fillet with green peppercorn is AED 390 (USD 106). Book a terrace table for the marina view. Il Bar

The oval chrome bar shares the space with Il Ristorante and looks straight out over the Gulf. It’s open 5pm to 2am. Come for aperitivo before dinner, or come instead of dinner. It’s the cheapest way to sit inside the resort’s best room.

Hōseki

A tiny Japanese omakase counter on the fourth floor with fewer than 20 seats and a skyline view. It holds one Michelin star. Chef Masahiro Sugiyama, a sixth-generation sushi chef, works directly in front of you with fish flown in from Japan.

Il Caffè and La Terrazza

Il Caffè is the resort’s all-day Italian restaurant facing the marina, and the most relaxed place to eat on the island. Its pizza comes from Pier Daniele Seu, the Roman chef behind Seu Pizza Illuminati, who has partnered with Bvlgari Dubai since 2020.

Every summer, Il Caffè turns into La Terrazza, part of Bvlgari’s L’Estate Italiana concept. The 2026 season ran from 16 June to 30 September, open 6:30 AM to 2 AM, with an open Pizza Bar, a gelato cart by Niko Romito and shisha on the terrace. La Spiaggia

The beach restaurant, open 8am to sunset. Expect Mediterranean plates, grilled octopus, burgers and Seu pizzas served on the sand. Shisha runs 1pm to 7pm. This is also the home of Serpenti Beach Club.

The Bvlgari Lounge

The lobby lounge overlooks the beach and the skyline and runs 8am to 11pm. Niko Romito curates its afternoon tea, with pastries from La Pasticceria and organic teas. The Yacht Club Restaurant

Italian seafood by the boats, 12:30pm to midnight. Think langoustine risotto and whole fish. It’s quieter than the main resort and a good pick for a long lunch.

The Bvlgari Spa

The spa covers 1,700 sqm and is one of the best-equipped in the city. It has seven treatment rooms plus a couples’ suite, a hammam, and a vitality pool modelled on the Baths of Caracalla in Rome. The standout is the 25-metre indoor pool with sea views, rare in a city where most hotel pools are outdoors and too hot to use from June to September.

Yes, you can spend a day at Bvlgari without staying. The main route in is Serpenti Beach Club, which opened at the end of April 2026 at La Spiaggia. It’s styled around Bvlgari’s Serpenti snake motif, which runs through the sunbeds, cabanas and shaded terraces.

Is Bvlgari Resort Dubai good for families?

Yes, with a caveat. The villas are some of the best family setups in Dubai: a private pool, a garden and a car park at your own front door. The Little Gems Club at the Yacht Club keeps kids busy, and Il Caffè and La Spiaggia are relaxed enough for children.
