But the Serpenti Beach Club, which opened on 30 April at Bvlgari Resort Dubai’s La Spiaggia beachfront, is not really competing with any of them. Instead of the usual “luxury beach with bottle service” formula, Bvlgari has built something with an actual point of view. One borrowed from the Maison’s most famous design symbol.
The concept takes the Serpenti motif (Italian for ‘serpent’) and threads it throughout the entire beach and pool area at Jumeira Bay. Curved cabana lines, flowing sunbed arrangements, and shaded terraces that follow organic shapes rather than grids. The whole layout has this sinuous quality, as if the space itself were coiling along the shoreline. It sounds like it could tip into theme-park territory. It doesn’t.
If you’ve been following Bvlgari’s hotel projects, you already know they take their design DNA seriously. But this feels like a bigger bet: that a fashion house’s visual language can shape how you spend a full day by the water, not just how a lobby looks when you check in.

How the Serpenti Beach Club changes through the day
Here’s the thing that makes the Serpenti Beach Club more interesting than it needs to be: the space was designed to shift character with the light. Mornings over the Arabian Gulf come in sharp and clean, and everything feels open, almost stripped back. By late afternoon, when the sun drops, and the whole bay goes amber, those same cabanas and terraces look like a different place. The geometry hasn’t changed, but the mood has.
That kind of awareness is rare. Most Dubai beach clubs look exactly the same at 10 AM and 4 PM because they were designed for one photo at peak sun.
The Serpenti motif itself isn’t slapped on like branding. It’s in the place’s geometry rather than printed on the cushions. Think of it less as “snake-themed decor” and more as a design language borrowed from Bvlgari’s jewelry. Curves where you’d expect straight lines. Rhythm where you’d expect repetition. People who know the brand spot it immediately. Everyone else just sees a well-designed beach club, which is probably the better outcome anyway.
Food, drinks, and the all-day rhythm
Bvlgari got the food-and-drink approach right here. The offering runs all day: fresh fruit and light bites move through the morning and into the afternoon, the resort’s cocktail menu is available whenever you want it, and there is no fixed meal service forcing you into a schedule. You eat when you want. You drink when you want. The staff keeps things flowing without the awkward “would you like to see the lunch menu now?” interruption.
This matters more than it sounds like it should. Too many Dubai beach clubs lock you into a lunch slot or a minimum-spend set menu that turns a lazy afternoon into a logistics exercise. The Serpenti Beach Club skips all of that. Show up early, settle into a cabana, and don’t think about time until the light turns golden.

Who can visit the Serpenti Beach Club, and what does it cost?
The Serpenti Beach Club was designed primarily for Bvlgari Resort Dubai guests, but outside visitors can walk in too. Access is subject to availability on a first-come basis.
Weekdays (Monday through Friday) cost AED 500 per person. That full amount is redeemable on food and drinks, so if you were planning to eat and have a few cocktails anyway, the entry fee basically pays for itself. Weekends (Saturday and Sunday) cost AED 650 per person, non-redeemable.
