Join Master Model Builder Workshops At LEGOLAND Dubai

Join LEGOLAND Dubai’s live Master Model Builder workshops on Instagram from 11 Mar, 2PM – build along & win 4 tickets!!!

Spring Break at home just got a serious upgrade. If your kids (or inner kid) are running out of things to build with cereal boxes and imagination, here’s a better plan: tune in, grab a handful of basic bricks, and let a real Master Model Builder walk you through something awesome – live, from the LEGOLAND Hotel.

Think of it like storytime, but with more studs and fewer bedtime protests. Starting 11 March at 2:00 PM, LEGOLAND Dubai is streaming a series of interactive Master Model Builder workshops on their official Instagram. Families can follow along in real time, ask questions during a live Q&A, and even stand a chance to win four tickets to visit the park once it reopens – yes, actual tickets, not just bragging rights.

The schedule

  • Wednesday 11 March – 2:00 PM.
  • Friday 13 March – 2:00 PM.
  • Monday 16 March – 2:00 PM.
  • Wednesday 18 March – 2:00 PM.

(The exact building themes are still a bit of a surprise – which, let’s be honest, is half the fun.)

What to expect

  • Short, friendly demos led by a Master Model Builder that use basic bricks most families have lying around (so no frantic online shopping required).
  • Live Q&A – kids can ask questions in real time, which usually means 80% building tips, 20% “how do you make a LEGO dinosaur that breathes fire?” energy.
  • A prize – join properly and you might win four tickets to the resort – sweet motivation for doing the tidy-up afterwards.

Quick prep list

  • A small pile of mixed bricks: plates, basic 2×4 and 2×2 bricks, some slopes and wheels if you have them.
  • A flat surface with decent light (phone propped up is fine – no one needs to see your living-room sock pile).
  • Snacks for the builders (parent-approved) and for the camera-star (your kid).
  • A phone or tablet tuned to LEGOLAND Dubai’s Instagram so you can jump in at 2:00 PM.

Tiny build idea to warm up

Make a micro-park bench: two 1×2 plates for feet, a 2×4 plate for the seat, and a couple of 1×2 bricks for backrest supports. It’s quick, modular, and expandable into a whole picnic scene. Bonus: you can pretend the minifigs are having the fanciest sandwich in town.

Why this is actually great for kids

It’s not just about bricks. These sessions spark imagination, teach basic engineering ideas (balance! symmetry!), and give small hands a goal that isn’t “scroll the screen again.” Plus, doing something together – building, laughing, and asking questions – is the sort of memory that sticks longer than any app high score.

So – ready, set, build! Round up the bricks, feed the cameraphone some battery life, and prepare for a few proud “look what I made” moments. If your kid ends up building a tiny tower that defiantly refuses to fall, consider it a parenting win.
