Summersalt Beach Club Dubai: Everything You Need To Know

Summersalt Beach Club Dubai

Summersalt Beach Club Dubai sits at the foot of the Burj Al Arab. Not near it. Not “with views of it in the distance.” Right there, on the beachfront of Jumeirah Al Naseem, with the sail-shaped tower filling your entire sightline from the pool. That view alone is probably worth half the entry fee.

The club opened in 2022 as part of the Madinat Jumeirah complex. It is smaller and quieter than most of the big-name beach clubs in Dubai, which is exactly why it works. No circus performers, no confetti cannons. Just a clean infinity pool, a stretch of white beach, a Nikkei-Latin restaurant, and DJs who keep things mellow until the late afternoon. If O Beach and Nikki Beach are Saturday night energy, Summersalt is a long Sunday lunch that runs into sunset.

Where Is Summersalt Beach Club Dubai?

pool day passes Dubai

Inside the Jumeirah Al Naseem hotel, which is the most modern of the four Madinat Jumeirah properties. You are right next to Wild Wadi Waterpark and Souk Madinat Jumeirah. Dubai Mall and the Burj Khalifa are about 15 minutes by car. The airport is roughly 25 minutes away. Parking is available at the hotel. A taxi from the Dubai Mall costs around AED 30.

Opening Hours

The beach club is open daily (seven days a week, no closed days). Hours shift slightly depending on the day:

  • Sunday to Wednesday: 9 AM to 6 PM
  • Thursday to Saturday: 9 AM to 8 PM

The restaurant (Summersalt by Kayto) runs longer hours: 12:30 PM to midnight. So you can stay for dinner after the pool closes.

DJs play daily from 2 PM onward. The music leans global, organic, and chilled. It picks up slightly as the afternoon goes on, but never tips into full club mode.

Day Pass Pricing at Summersalt Beach Club Dubai

Summersalt Beach Club

Summersalt runs a tiered day pass system. Prices change between weekdays and weekends, and there are different tiers depending on how much you want to spend. Pricing also shifts seasonally, so always confirm with the venue before heading over.

Important notes:

  • Summersalt is part of the Jumeirah hotel group. Guests at Burj Al Arab and Jumeirah Al Naseem get complimentary access, which means the club can get busy even on weekdays.
  • The club is not huge. There are 60 sun loungers and 6 private cabanas. It fills up, especially on weekends during the cooler months (October to April). Book ahead.
  • Guests over the age of 12 are welcome for day passes. Children under 4 enter free with a parent.
  • There is a button on each sunbed to order food and drinks. You can also use the app.
  • Cabana bookings for groups of 7+ need to be arranged directly with the club.

WOW Emirates Pro Tip: The Monday-Tuesday couples pass at AED 700 for two is the best value entry point if you are flexible on days. No F&B credit, but you will likely order lunch anyway, and you skip the weekend markup entirely.

What to Eat and Drink at Summersalt Beach Club Dubai

Summersalt by Kayto

The on-site restaurant is Summersalt by Kayto, a Nikkei-Latin concept that blends Peruvian and Japanese flavours. It is the same Kayto brand that runs inside Jumeirah Al Naseem proper, adapted for the beachside setting.

The menu covers ceviches, sushi, grilled seafood, steaks, salads and sharing plates. Signature items include shrimp tempura, king crab guacamole, and a solid range of grilled fish. There is a vegetarian section and a kids’ menu.

There is a swim-up bar at the pool and a separate terrace bar. Shisha is available.

WOW Emirates Pro Tip: Order directly from your sunbed using the button or app. The kitchen runs from 12:30 PM, so if you arrive at 9 AM, plan for poolside drinks first and lunch from 1 PM onward. The ceviches are the strongest part of the menu.

The Pool and Beach

The infinity pool is roughly 30 metres by 10 metres and faces directly out toward the Burj Al Arab. It is one of the most photographed pool angles in Dubai for a reason. Palm trees line the edges, and the whole setup has a slightly Mediterranean feel without trying too hard.

Beyond the pool, the beach is a private stretch of soft white sand with clear water. You can walk along it in either direction. Umm Suqeim Beach (public) is about a 10-minute walk if you want to compare.

There are 60 sun loungers around the pool and beach, plus 6 private cabanas. Cabanas come with water, pink grape, fresh fruit, shower amenities and 25% off food and drinks. They start from AED 500 per couple on weekdays and AED 1,000 on weekends.

Vibe Check: Who Is Summersalt For?

This is not a party beach club. If you want DJs dropping bass and a crowd standing on daybeds by 3 PM, go to O Beach or Bohemia.

Summersalt suits couples, small groups and solo visitors who want a genuinely relaxed day by the water with good food, a beautiful pool and the best Burj Al Arab view of any beach club in the city. Moreover, it also works for families during the day, with kids over 4 welcome and a dedicated kids menu available.

The crowd skews slightly older and more international than the J1 Beach or JBR beach clubs. You will see hotel guests mixing with day pass visitors. The energy stays chilled until mid-afternoon, then the DJs warm things up for the golden hour stretch.

WOW Emirates Pro Tip: If you want the Burj Al Arab in your background for photos, the pool-facing loungers on the right side as you walk in give you the cleanest angle. Arrive before 11 AM on a weekend to grab one.

What Is Nearby?

One of the nice things about Summersalt’s location is that you are plugged into the entire Madinat Jumeirah ecosystem. Within walking distance:

  • Souk Madinat Jumeirah – shopping, dining, abra rides on the canals
  • Wild Wadi Waterpark – right next door (Jumeirah hotel guests typically get complimentary access)
  • Flamingo Room by Tasha’s, Rockfish, KAYTO – all inside Jumeirah Al Naseem
  • Burj Al Arab – visible from your sunbed, currently closed for renovation until late 2027

You could do a full day starting at Summersalt, then walk to Souk Madinat for dinner. That is a solid plan.

How to Book

However, book ahead for weekends, especially from October to April. The club is small enough that it regularly hits capacity.
