Unlike conventional trams that run on fixed tracks, Dubai’s new Trackless Tram utilizes virtual tracks. Powered by AI, optical navigation, GPS, and LiDAR, the tram autonomously detects and avoids obstacles, ensuring safe and smooth travel. Some of the key features of the Trackless Trams are:
- Passenger Capacity: With three carriages, each tram can carry up to 300 passengers.

- Operational Range: The tram can cover distances of up to 100 kilometers on a single charge.
